Jean Ferrari, sporting director of César Vallejo University, declared on Radio Ovación that the coach of their institution, Ángel Comizzo, has requested the hiring of midfielder Antonio Gonzales.
"Professor Comizzo has not requested the signing of 'Toño', rather for the month of August we have planned a trip to Argentina to see some players who could come to reinforce the team," said Ferrari.
Regarding the benching of goalkeeper Salomón Libman and the starting position of Eder Hermoza, the former player assured that it is a matter of the coach himself.
"It is a matter of Professor Comizzo, who chose Hermoza as a starter. In any case, the one who has to give that answer should be the coach because he is the one who defines the tactical system and the eleven players who start the match," he concluded.
Antonio Gonzales was playing for Ayacucho FC, but a few days ago he announced that he was leaving the institution to attend to family problems.
