On Wednesday, October 19, President Pedro Castillo issued a message to the Nation to clarify some details about the corruption allegations against him and some members of his family.
This message caused the program Magaly TV La Firme to be delayed for a few minutes, so host Magaly Medina did not hesitate to launch a harsh criticism towards the president and the political situation that the country faces because of some bad officials.
In her usual style, the popular 'Urraca' criticized the speech of the president from Chota and made a harsh comment that generated controversy on social media like TikTok.
"We went over the hour because someone came up with the idea of making a speech to defend corruption in their family," said the entertainment host jokingly.
However, although Magaly Medina stated that she does not like to talk about politics, since it is not her field, she did not hesitate to question the role of the Congress of the Republic and the situation that the country faces due to the corruption of some officials.
"When will there be people with courage in this country who will do the work they have to do once and for all? I'm talking to you, Congress. Politics is not my field, but sometimes this country becomes a circus, especially the circus of corruption, a bit of showbiz wouldn't hurt," said the 'Urraca'.
