Antonio Brown has taken another shot at former teammate Tom Brady.
The free agent, who previously played alongside the legendary quarterback with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, mocked Brady’s marital woes with wife Gisele Bündchen via social media on Sunday.
As Brady was gearing up for the Buccaneers’ game against the Atlanta Falcons, Brown, 34, shared a photo to Twitter and his Instagram Story of a book cover titled “Daddy Doesn’t Live Here Anymore: A Book About Divorce.”
The image was edited to show cartoon versions of Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, Photoshopped onto the cover amid news that the two have hired divorce lawyers.
The post came less than one week after Brown shared a photo via Instagram of himself hugging the Victoria’s Secret supermodel via Instagram.
While some found the posts hilarious, others argued they were “disrespectful” to Brady, who helped Brown land contracts within the NFL amid his troubling history of allegedly violent behavior toward women.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ even let Brown stay at his house when he first moved to Florida.
“Imagine the guy that gave you your only shot left in the nfl, wanted to see you succeed just to disrespect him in the end of your relevance,” one person commented, with another adding, “Why? Dude took you in & you clown him, foul!!!.”
A third person chimed in, “Crazy how your [sic] disrespecting the man who gave you an opportunity to play football when no one else did and was the reason you won a Super Bowl.”
Another follower added, “You a whole clown. Tom did everything for you and you trolling him and talking about his wife? 🤡🤡🤡.”
Page Six exclusively reported last week that Brady and Bündchen have retained divorce lawyers following an “epic fight” about the athlete’s decision to “un-retire” from the NFL.
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” one insider told us of the couple, who have been living apart for the past few months.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Brady and Bündchen tied the knot in 2009 and share two kids together: Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. The NFL star also shares 15-year-old John Edward with ex Bridget Moynahan.
