The University of Wyoming's two-match winning streak came to an end Thursday night with a 3-1 loss (25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 26-24) to San Jose State at the UniWyo Sports Complex in Laramie.
KC McMahon had 14 kills to lead the Cowgirls (6-11, 2-3 MW), with Naya Shime (Riverton) adding 10. Sophomore setter Kasia Partyka had 41 assists and 10 digs and Hailey Zuroske finished with 14 digs.
UW returns to the court Saturday when it hosts Nevada.
