Britney Spears and Elton John will release on August 26th "Hold me closer", a highly anticipated collaboration whose name is taken from the 1972 hit "Tiny Dancer" by the British musician.
Elton John offered a visual sneak peek of the song on Friday on Twitter with a photo of the two of them as children, him on the piano and her in a pink ballerina dress, along with the title, the date, and another image of both as adults.
“Hold me closer” is Spears' first single since her album "Glory", released on August 26th, 2016, and since November last year when the American pop icon stopped being under a legal guardianship, first by her father and in recent months by a state official from California, which lasted for 13 years.
The first news about this collaboration came out in July and by then, according to Entertainment Tonight, the song had already been recorded.
