Inter Miami defeated SJ Earthquakes 1-0 at home on Wednesday at Avaya Stadium. The visitors scored the only goal of the match in the 11th minute of the first half, through Jean Mota. After an individual play on the left, the midfielder shot on goal from outside the box and surprised the opposing goalkeeper by placing the ball in the left corner.
