On July 28th, the San Felipe Residential was the scene of a large fire that left all the residents in the area astonished. However, everything seems to indicate that the fire was contained by the firefighters.
This structure is located at 000 Punta del Este Ave. At that time, about 10 fire units approached the scene and did everything possible to control the emergency.
Residents of the area reported through social media the strong black smoke coming from the 6th floor of one of the towers, which instantly caused a lot of concern and fear.
Sources from the La República Newspaper reported that some residents were trapped due to the strong black smoke that prevented visibility. "We cannot leave, there is 0% visibility," expressed a neighbor of the building.
The latest reports refer to the difficult access that the firefighters had to enter with all their units to that place to extinguish the flames of the fire, the origin of which is still unknown.

Through Twitter, it was known that personnel from the COE Health provided assistance to the residents affected by the emergency with healthcare professionals.
On the other hand, it was also known that Sedapal provided support by sending tanker trucks, as well as enabling fire hydrants in places near the scene.
Similarly, at the time of the emergency, EsSalud was in charge of sending an ambulance with healthcare personnel to provide timely attention to the injured with the necessary care.
