The salsa exponent was praised by renowned international artists; however, journalist Beto Ortiz 'trolled' her through his social media.
'Yaha' praised herself for her participation in this international event, saying: "I am the first Peruvian and I am glad that I am also a woman. The first Peruvian woman to step on big stages," she expressed.
But, who wasn't going to miss the opportunity to question the artist, was journalist Beto Ortiz, who 'trolled' her on Instagram: "Yma Sumac was a chancay next to her."
Yma Sumac was a prominent historical Peruvian soprano with a wide musical career, considered in the Guinness Book as the widest vocal range.
Yahaira Plasencia admits that she is a character targeted by the media and social media users, even in one of the last interviews she gave, she indicated that she was "the favorite of the press."
However, Ortiz wouldn't be the only one questioning Yahaira Plasencia's statements. Since Magaly Medina called her "Pinocha and ungrateful."
The entertainment host pointed out that the salsa singer is telling lies about how she started in the music world and how she got her instruments.
"People want to rewrite their story their way, saying that we have no history and we forget everything. Yaha said things that are not true, she doesn't remember that I bought everything for her, she says she doesn't owe anything to anyone," the "Urraca" pointed out.
