The actor Chris Evans announced on his social media that he will no longer play Captain America after 10 years of many missions. He confirmed that he is passing the baton to Sam Wilson, which is being played by Anthony Mackie.
Although there were versions that said Evans would return to play the leader of the Avengers and surprise us as the super soldier Steve Rogers. However, this was denied by Chris himself on his official Twitter account.
Now, Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson in the Disney series, will be the new Captain America. It is also known that the fourth installment of this movie already has a new director.
Fans have not received this announcement well, because if Sam Wilson becomes the new Captain America, he would automatically be the replacement for Chris Evans.
