Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Kieron Pollard’s woeful form doesn’t seem to come to an end as he fell to Gujarat Titans (GT) leg-spinner, Rashid Khan, after making just 4 of 14 deliveries.
Batting first, MI had their best powerplay of the season with skipper, Rohit Sharma scoring 42 runs in just 24 balls. They finished the first 6 overs with 63 runs on the board, getting the perfect start they required.
However, Rohit fell soon after but Ishan Kishan carried the momentum. Wickets tumbled at the other end, however, leaving Pollard in the company of Tilak Varma to rebuild in the middle overs.
However, all the momentum garnered by the top-order was brought to a halt by Pollard’s poor knock. He looked completely clueless against Rashid, playing four dots in a row before being bowled on the 5th delivery.
