A lot of things happened across the league on the last regular-season game day but a few stole the spotlight. Facundo Campazzo was also one of the storylines but it wasn’t in a good way.
The Argentinian guard was frustrated by a no-call on his coast-to-coast driving layup and, after getting up from the fall, he angrily shoved Wayne Ellington in the back.
It should be noted that Ellington wasn’t the one defending Campazzo on the drive and was just in Facundo’s way after rebounding. Ellington fell to the floor and was hit into the head by a teammate but no injuries resulted from it.
Campazzo was called for a flagrant 2 foul and ejected from the game. Ellington, after an 18-point display, one of his best, went to social media and called out Facu with a threat.
“When I see you I’m putting my hands on you,” Ellington wrote via Twitter while tagging Campazzo.
