The Antioquia midfielder Yilmar Angulo suffered a cerebral hemorrhage before starting a new workday with his new team Millonarios, who reported that the player is now hospitalized in a clinic in Bogotá to determine the causes of the cerebrovascular incident that left him half of his body numb.
"He is conscious. He suffered this cerebral infarction, but he is already moving his leg and his arm, although we do not know what could have happened in the specific case of the player since the necessary tests were carried out before starting the preseason and no anomalies were detected that could alert us. An arteriography will be performed to see what is happening from the neck up in his head to determine if it was a clot that formed in the neck," said Millonarios' medical director, Fernando Pastrana.
The player reported feeling unwell when he arrived at the club's headquarters before starting the rigorous training, and immediately the Medical Department of Millonarios decided to take him urgently to a medical center in the capital. In the coming hours, the real causes of the physical mishap suffered by the former Envigado and Medellín player will be known.
