Through her official Twitter account, the journalist told her thousands of followers that her cell phone was stolen and expressed feeling outraged and surprised after this unfortunate experience.
"They stole my cellphone. Fortunately, I wasn't threatened. It happened inside Plaza Vea. I blocked the line immediately. At Movistar, they told me that every day, only in that store, they handle 60 cellphone replacements due to theft. 60!", she wrote.
After sharing this message, Verónica Linares received a wave of comments from her followers, who wasted no time expressing their support and solidarity after this sad event.
In response to the numerous messages received, the host of América Televisión made a new publication highlighting that the theft didn't escalate: "I'm just annoyed. Fortunately", she added.
