The Chaos Theory

The independent company AAW celebrated its event yesterday in Merrionette Park, Illinois. The main event of the show saw the current AAW Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Kingston, defend the title against the challenger Trevor Lee.

• Drew Gulak defeated Louis Lyndon by submission with an ankle lock.

• Kongo Kong defeated Dan O'Hare and Wheeler Utah in a triple threat match after hitting a splash on O'Hare. After the match, Russ Jones attacked Kong and was later joined by Ryan Boz.
• Heidi Lovelace and Kimber Lee defeated Allysin Kay and Brittany Blake in a tag team women's match.
• The Hooligans (c) defeated Zero Gravity to retain the AAW Tag Team Championships.
• Sami Callihan defeated Chris Hero to become the new challenger for the AAW Heavyweight Championship after delivering two kicks to the head.

• Shane Hollister, Mat Fitchett, and Markus Crane defeated Bucky Collinswood, Eddie Machete, and Connor Braxton after Fitchett hit a breaker on Bucky.
• Ryan Boz defeated Abyss using various weapons with the help of Gregory Iron and Benjamin Boone. After the match, Kongo Kong made the save for Abyss. Abyss and Kongo Kong challenged the members of Iron Curtain to a Monster's Ball for the next event.
• AR Fox defeated Davey Vega (c) with a 450° splash to become the new AAW Heritage Champion.
• Eddie Kingston (c) defeated Trevor Lee after several finishing moves to retain the AAW Heavyweight Championship. After the match, Kingston told Lee that he respects him for the match they had.

EVENT NOTES:

• AAW announced that the next event The Heart of War will take place on February 19.
• Sami Callihan will challenge Eddie Kingston for the AAW Heavyweight Championship.
• Tommaso Ciampa will make his return to AAW.
