The Paris Saint Germain star and Spanish defender Álvaro González of Marseille maintained their duel on Twitter on Monday, which ended with the expulsion of the Brazilian footballer.

Neymar, who repeatedly complained that González had made racist comments, stated on social media that it was easy for VAR to capture his "aggression" towards González.

"Now, I want to see the image of the racist calling me 'son of a bitch monkey'... I was expelled and what about him?" added the PSG forward, who received a red card after VAR officials asked the referee to review images in which Neymar repeatedly slapped González's head.

For his part, the OM center-back rejected racist behaviors and defended the integrity of his professional career.

In the midst of the clash, Neymar received support from a compatriot with a controversial background. This is Felipe Melo, who wrote a harsh phrase on Twitter. "Well done, too bad I didn't play against this fucking racist," wrote the Palmeiras player.

But Felipe Melo was not the only one to show support for Neymar. Dani Alves also spoke out, albeit in a moderate way: "Both in sports and in life, we are there to inspire people, to transform lives, and there is no place for people who proclaim hate or racism. Don't let yourself be guided by hate, my brother, be the peace and goodness that you carry in your soul. Love is the only way to fight hate, even if it hurts our nature momentarily! I love you, little brother."
