First National Virtual Chess Tournament "Copa Julio Granda"

For lovers of the sport of science, the Municipality of Miraflores will organize the First National Virtual Chess Tournament "Copa Julio Granda". The event will take place on Saturday, October 24th between 4:00 pm and 5:30 pm.

According to the Miraflores municipality, this virtual competition aims to promote the practice of the sport of science among children and adolescents across the country in these times of pandemic due to the new coronavirus.

It is important to note that participants will be able to take part in the Sub-9, Sub-11, Sub-13, and Sub-16 categories, and to participate, registration is free and will be open from September 21st to October 16th on the Deportes Miraflores Facebook Page.

It should be noted that the winners of each category will receive a trophy and a scholarship for one month with the Grand International Master Julio Granda, a constant promoter of the sport of science in our country.
