Manchester United Renews Nemanja Matic's Contract Until 2023

The Manchester United announced on Monday the renewal of midfielder Nemanja Matic until 2023.

The Serbian player, who joined United in 2017 from Chelsea, was out of contract next summer. This season he has played 27 matches in all competitions.

"I still have a lot to give and achieve in my career as a player, and being able to do it at Manchester United will be an honor," said Matic to the Manchester United website.

"It's incredible to be part of a team like this, where there is such a good balance between youth and experience," he pointed out.

United has not known defeat since last January and is settling as the fifth classified in the table. EFE
