Four Challenger tournaments in China are suspended due to the threat of the coronavirus.

The ATP announced on Tuesday the suspension of four Challenger events (preliminary step to ATP tournaments) in China due to the threat of the coronavirus.

ATP Suspends Challenger Tournaments in China

The Challenger tournaments in Qujing, scheduled to start on the week of March 2nd, Zhuhai, set to begin on March 9th, Shenzhen, starting on March 16th, and Zhangjiagang, planned for March 23rd, have been suspended.

According to the ATP, they will continue to monitor the situation in China and communicate the possible relocation of these tournaments to other parts of the season.

The Challenger tournaments in Taipei, Nanchang, Changsha, and Annin, scheduled for April, are still going ahead.
