First Round of Eliminations

The National Interleague Championship saw action on Sunday with the dispute of the first matchday of the fourth round of eliminations. Pastoreo and Paraguari celebrated victories against Tebicuary and Casadena, respectively.

Group 1

The Selected Team of the Paraguari Regional Football League achieved a great victory in Puerto Casado by defeating the Casadena Sports League 3-2. The Paraguari team celebrated with goals scored by Augusto Gimenez, Ramon Bogarin, and Wilson Mendoza, while Nelson Cuevas and Claudelino Aguirre scored for the home team.

In the second matchday, the Chaco team will seek recovery, but they will have to go to the Pettirossi Club in the Pearl of the South to face Encarnacena that rested on the first matchday. Paraguari has a free day.

Group 2

The Pastoreo League took a big step towards the next phase by defeating the Tebicuary League 2-0 in the match played in Juan Manuel Frutos. Juan Angel Martinez was the man of the afternoon, scoring both goals for the home team.

In the upcoming weekend, Pastoreo will have to visit Hernandariense, who had a rest in the first matchday, at the National Club's field, while Tebicuary will have a rest day.

Both matches will be played on Sunday, January 17th, starting at 17:00.
