He went too far
In the midst of a heated match to avoid relegation, Víctor Rossel, the UTC forward, performed an action that enraged the San Martín players. 'Pituquito' pushed Farro to prevent him from saving a free kick which ultimately became the 'Gavilán' goal.
There were only 4 minutes left for the match between UTC and San Martín to end. Then, a free kick was awarded in favor of the home team just outside the Santa's area, and Ryan Salazar took the ball. The midfielder kicked the ball with precision, but his shot was clearly aimed at Farro's hands.
It seemed like an occasion that wouldn't generate danger, however, no one counted on the 'cleverness' of Víctor Rossel, who shamelessly pushed Farro before he could catch the ball. The referee pretended not to see it and the white players exploded in anger.
In the end, after several fights and controversy, San Martín managed to equalize in the 97th minute and brought some justice to the scoreboard. With the draw, both teams are getting rid of any possibility of relegation to the second division.
