Deportivo de la Coruña is the bottom team in Second Division. After their defeat against Real Zaragoza at Riazor, which has led to angry protests from their fans, the Galician team is going through the most negative streak in their entire sporting career. According to As, they have gone 18 consecutive matches without a victory.

The worrying streak that Deportivo was going through, one of the most historic clubs in our country, led to the dismissal of Juan Antonio Anquela a little over two months ago. The chosen replacement for the one from Linares was Luis César Sampedro, who, until now, has been unable to turn the fortunes around for a team that is drifting through the treacherous seas of Spanish second division.

One of the biggest fears of the white-and-blue fans is undoubtedly the possible disappearance of their beloved team. It would be a real shame for an entity like Deportivo de la Coruña, which has rubbed shoulders with the most representative clubs of the Old Continent on more than one occasion, to be doomed to such a tragic fate. Will they be able to change their situation as soon as possible?

As for their position in the table, their performance is really poor, as they have only won one game with 9 draws and two losses in the first 19 matches of the season in Second Division. There is a little over half of the domestic championship left, although it is true that Málaga sets the safety mark with 20 points, 8 more than what the Galicians have at this point (12).
