A kick in the air, with a spin and aimed at the head of an opponent, is the action that has puzzled everyone in African football. It happened during the match between the Tanzanian and Burundian national teams in the U-17 Africa Cup.
Morice Abraham, captain of Tanzania, had possession of the ball and decided to show off against his opponent, Assumani Bendengeri, who reacted with a violent spinning kick to the neck of his fellow professional. Not content with that, the player from Burundi also stomped on his opponent's leg.
The incredible thing happened when the referee, Belay Tadesse, called the foul but did not caution the Burundian player. In the end, Tanzania won with a score of 2-1.
