The Netherlands qualified for the UEFA Euro 2020 this Saturday, their first major tournament since 2014, thanks to their 0-0 draw in Belfast against Northern Ireland.

With this result, The Netherlands maintains a three-point advantage over their British rival in the Group C standings and has secured second place, regardless of the respective results of both teams on Tuesday in the last round of Eurocup qualifying.

Thus, the Netherlands finishes second in Group C, with 16 points, two less than Germany, who thrashed Belarus 4-0.

It was a negative outcome for Northern Ireland, who needed a victory to keep their direct qualification hopes alive.
