Van der Vaart recommends Hakim Ziyech to Tottenham
Former player of Ajax Amsterdam and Tottenham, Rafael Van der Vaart, has recommended a player to Daniel Levy, president of the Spurs, who can replace Christian Eriksen (27 years old). The current Tottenham player will be leaving in winter or summer, that's why new names are already being mentioned to take his place.
The player recommended by Van der Vaart is Hakim Ziyech (26 years old), midfielder of Ajax who can also play as a winger. "I hope Ziyech goes to Tottenham and I believe it will happen. I spoke to Levy and told him: sign Ziyech after this season. I am convinced he would make an impact in London," said Van der Vaart himself on the TV program "Studio Voetbal" of the channel NOS.
The latest reference regarding the player is the offer that the Dutch club made last season for teams interested in signing him. "It was valued at around €30 million," said Van der Vaart. However, the offers that came in did not interest Ziyech. In the current season, he has scored a total of 6 goals and provided 9 assists in 18 matches.
