Esteban Gutierrez returns to Formula 1

Esteban Gutierrez will return to Formula 1 next year after Haas announced him as their new driver.

Romain Grosjean will be his teammate in the 2016 season and both will seek to bring good luck to the new team.

Gutierrez has not completely separated from Formula 1. In the last year, he was a reserve driver for Ferrari since he lost his place in the Sauber team in 2014.

Haas is closely linked to Ferrari and will use parts from the Italian team next year.

The Mexican driver acknowledged that his work at Ferrari and his patience were key to his return to the circuits.

"I am very hungry to return to the tracks. It has been one of the most important years of development for me. I am very happy to belong to this team, I know we will achieve great things. Our expectation is to have a good car to compete, we really like challenges,” said 'Guti'.
