The United States rolled over Cuba 7-0 in the Concacaf Nations League.

With a hat-trick from Weston McKennie, the United States national team crushed Cuba 7-0 in a match of the Concacaf Nations League in front of 13,000 spectators in Washington.

The American goals were scored by McKennie (1', 5' and 13'), Jordan Morris (9'), Joshua Sargent (40'), and Christian Pulisic (62'), while Cuban Dario Ramos (37') scored an own goal.

It was the second thrashing suffered by the Cuban team, as in the first match they had lost 6-0 against Canada.

With another defeat, Cuba will almost certainly finish at the bottom of the group and will be relegated in the next edition of the Concacaf Nations League, scheduled for 2022.

The United States has won each of the last 11 meetings with the Caribbean Lions and has a historical record of 39-11 against the island nation. AFP
