The German coach made a mea culpa after Argentina's draw.

The German coach Joachim Löw admitted the superiority of Argentina in the second half of the friendly match played this Wednesday by both teams in Dortmund, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

"In the first half, we played very bravely, taking risks, but we combined very well, playing well in the offensive aspect" and scoring two goals, through Serge Gnabry (15) and Kai Havertz (22).

"But in the second half, Argentina was stronger. They brought in quality players, with depth and very dangerous," added Löw.

Two of these changes introduced by coach Lionel Scaloni, Lucas Alario and Lucas Ocampos, were precisely the authors of the equalizing goals, in the 66th and 85th minutes.

"We couldn't keep up with the pace for the full 90 minutes, but I am very happy with the performance of the new players," concluded the coach.

The captain Joshua Kimmich agreed with his coach that it was "a game with two faces."

"In the first half, we were good, but in the second half, we had to chase after them," he added.
