WhatsApp | Works on both Android and Apple's iOS operating systems.

All WhatsApp users can index new contacts to their platform for better contact management. This leads us to a question: how do we know who added our phone number to the instant messaging service?

Knowing it seems something for hackers, but we tell you that it is quite easy. The best thing is that you don't need to download any software to know who added you as a contact on WhatsApp, something that can be done even when you don't have that person saved on your mobile.

Below I share the steps you must follow in WhatsApp. It works for both Android and Apple iOS operating systems.

  • Open WhatsApp on your mobile.
  • Access the "Menu" (three-dot icon located in the upper right corner).
  • Select "New broadcast."
  • Your complete list of contacts will appear, which you will have to select all.
  • Then, write a message of your choice.
  • Click "Send."
  • After sending the message, you must wait approximately half an hour for the list of users who have added you to their mobile phone to appear.
  • Now go to the sent WhatsApp message and hold it down for a few seconds.
  • Finally, you will see the list of people who read it.
