2019: Farewell to Football Legends

As every year, we start a new season at the end of summer without seeing many players who recently decided to hang up their boots. In 2019, we no longer see them on the field, with Fernando Torres being the latest to do so just a few days ago.

But before him, there were Xavi Hernandez, Peter Cech, Robin Van Persie, Wesley Sneijder... Many will remain connected to the beautiful game, but it will never be the same. Another chapter begins in their lives, and we have to get used to missing these idols of ours.

We wanted to pay them tribute, so here is the ideal starting eleven of the footballers who ended their careers in 2019. We surely left out some along the way, as not everyone could make it, but this is the team we have chosen.
