One of the news that shook the gaming world was that Tyler Blevins, better known as Ninja, reached an agreement with Mixer to leave Twitch and dedicate himself fully to his platform. This put Twitch in a complicated situation, who had to reveal to their audience that they will have to visit the competition if they want to see the popular streamer, and they did it with a curious reference to Super Mario Bros.
If you visit Ninja's channel on Twitch, you will notice that there is no longer any content. In fact, we can't even see the disconnected stream screen. Instead, there is an image with the phrase "Ninja is in another castle". As you know, this is a clear reference to the phrase that Toad tells Mario when he rescues him in the first Super Mario Bros.
Below this image, Twitch puts some channels that the players abandoned by Ninja can enjoy. The above is an interesting strategy and perhaps the best measure that could have been taken in this situation. What we mean is that it is a way to inform about Ninja's departure without mentioning Mixer, while telling their community that there are still several reasons to stay on Twitch.
This is what appears when you search for Ninja's channel on Twitch.
Now, it is important to clarify that Twitch has not removed all of Ninja's content from its platform. What we mean is that you can still watch more than 900 archived videos of the streamer. That being said, the company only keeps this type of content for 60 days, so its disappearance from the platform is imminent.
