The tenth and final race of the Copa Prime Andalucía motorcycle speed tournament will take place today at the Cotopaxi Kartodrome, located in Latacunga.

This time, the organization has established a 1,050-meter long track in a clockwise direction, designed for attendees to enjoy the duels in each of the categories (heavy and light).

The heavy category will have an exciting conclusion, as three pilots have clear possibilities to fight for the title. Federico Daste from the capital city maintains the lead in the accumulated table of his series, from the middle of the season until now.

Therefore, Daste is the most favored and becomes the pilot to beat, however, his teammate, Sebastián Calero, follows him with just 10 units.

The two pilots from the Andalucía team have closed the possibilities for the tournament sponsor's team to have a leading role in the end of the season.

Another candidate to fight for the crown in the heavy class is César Villamagua, who is in third place behind the leaders, with a considerable difference, but considering the points at stake, he maintains mathematical possibilities. The same happens with Diego Ortiz, who would be another contender for the podium.

In this category, nothing is certain and the points accumulated during the weekend will be key in the runners' aspirations to win the championship or a podium position.

In the light category, Bryan Martínez remains the absolute leader of the accumulated table with a difference of over 100 points from his follower, Cristóbal Cañizares, the only pilot who has been able to beat Martínez. However, despite the point difference that Martínez has accumulated, his health has been diminished after a fall that prevented him from participating in the eighth race, and in the ninth race he could only rescue some points.

Carlos Suárez and his favorable results also make him another protagonist in the season finale. He is in third place and can fight for a podium, but he has young Pablo Martínez, Bryan's younger brother, right on his heels. The younger of the Martínez brothers could benefit from a third-place finish if conditions allow. (D)
