Facebook Messenger continues to bring news. In the face of the events that surrounded Mark Zuckerberg's social network, its chat platform has been the most downloaded application in the month of June, according to Sensor Tower data.
Among the countries that installed the app the most on their devices are India and Indonesia.
What can you do on Facebook Messenger? The application not only serves as a chat, but also allows you to share your stories, GIFs, emojis, animated stickers, videos, and even photos. However, this is a feature that very few know about.
Although it arrived a little late and quietly, now the Facebook chat allows you to delete messages as long as the other person has not read them.
What does that mean? If you made a mistake in writing to someone, you only have 10 minutes to delete that text that you didn't want to send. You just have to press the message and two options will appear:
- The first one is "Delete for everyone". This function allows you to delete the sent text. However, it will appear that your message was deleted from the platform.
- The other option is "Delete for me". This allows you to delete the message you sent and don't want to see anymore. However, the other person will still have that text in their inbox.

The feature arrived just in time to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Facebook. An iconic birthday in the midst of all the company's scandals in the past 2 years.
It should be noted that Mark Zuckerberg's company plans to improve the interaction of Messenger and will create direct links with WhatsApp. For example, soon you will be able to share your Statuses in the Facebook chat stories.
