Bayern Munich continues to search for reinforcements in the Spanish League
After securing the services of Lucas Hernandez (from Atletico Madrid), the Bavarian directive has decided to cast its nets on another talent forged in that competition, midfielder Marc Roca.
Although the interest in this player dates back several weeks, it seems that it has been in these last few hours when the German entity has made its first proposal to his club, Espanyol. According to Catalunya Radio, the Munich club has committed to paying €18 million plus a series of variables whose details are unknown.
The Pericos, who have just transferred Mario Hermoso to Atletico Madrid, have no need to generate more money in their coffers, so far from studying the proposal, they have chosen to decline it and make it clear that the departure of their player is subject to the payment of the €40 million stated in his release clause. Likewise, the directors have specified that said amount must be paid in cash, with no possibility of deferred payments.
Roca, 22, rose to the first team of Espanyol during the 2016-2017 season, but it was not until last season that he managed to establish himself in the starting lineups and become one of the most promising midfielders in Spain (accumulating 40 official matches, 1 goal, and 2 assists).
