Tips for transferring electricity to a battery.
Have you ever thought about what to do if your car runs out of battery? It is something that can happen; however, it is not very difficult to solve this problem and in RPP Al Volante we explain it step by step.
The first thing we must do is find a vehicle that does have a charged battery to transfer it to our vehicle. This must be done using the battery cables that come with the car.
To make the connection, it is necessary to be careful and avoid the different polarity cables from colliding, as a short circuit could be generated. The negative cable (black color) is placed first and then the positive cable (red color).
Once the cables are in place, the vehicle with the operative battery is turned on for a period of between 3 and 5 minutes. After that, the receiving vehicle is turned on to check if its battery has received the current.
The vehicle must remain on in order to fully charge the battery. Finally, the cables are removed with the same care and quickly.
