Sailor Moon Crystal premiered in 2014. This anime is an adaptation of the original manga and it remains closer to the original story. Just in 2018, it was announced that the anime would arrive in Latin America with the respective dubbing.
Many fans of the original work enjoyed the series' return to television. Well, now we have good news for them. Sailor Moon is coming to the big screen with two movies for the year 2020.
A few days ago, Usagi Tsukino's birthday was celebrated, the protagonist of the anime. On this occasion, Toei Animation announced that the first movie will be called Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal (or Pretty Guardians Sailor Moon Eternal).
For now, it is known that the story will focus on the "Dead Moon" arc, which is explored in the original manga. Similar to Akira Toriyama with the Dragon Ball Super film, Naoko Tekeuchi will supervise the film.
