The Overwatch League already has a champion. London Spitfire won the title at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York, in front of 20,000 eSports fans.
After a tough battle in Blizzard's tactical shooter, London Spitfire won the first prize of one million dollars, followed by Fusion from Philadelphia with $400,000. The following places from sixth to tenth distributed prizes between $100,000 and $50,000.
The final duel of the Overwatch League was played under a best-of-three system. Spitfire started winning 3-1 against Fusion on the first day. On the second day of the final, the London team achieved a resounding 3-0 victory.
Jun-Young "Profit" Park of Spitfire London was named MVP, with a great performance of 27 kills.
