Christian Cueva starts a new stage in his career with a lot of enthusiasm. This Friday, along with two other teammates, they were presented as new reinforcements of FC Krasnodar in the open training session. The Peruvian player's number for this season in the Russian Premier League was also revealed.
The fans of FC Krasnodar had access to one of the popular stands of the stadium to witness not only their team's last practice before their debut in the Russian Premier League, but also to welcome the club's new reinforcements: Serbian defender Uros Spajic, Peruvian midfielder Christian Cueva, and Russian forward Dmitri Stotskiy.
Before the open practice started, the three reinforcements of FC Krasnodar entered the field one by one to receive the applause from the attending fans. They all earned the applause as they entered, and on the stadium's huge screens, their faces were shown along with the number of the jersey they will wear this season.
Christian Cueva arrived at FC Krasnodar from Sao Paulo, which sold the entirety of his transfer to the Russian team for a total amount of 8 million euros (almost 9 million dollars) so that the Peruvian player could sign a contract with the 'bulls'.
The Peruvian player's debut will be on Sunday, July 29, when FC Krasnodar visits Rubin Kazan at the Kazan World Cup Stadium.
