At the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Hertha BSC beat Hamburger SV 3-0 in the continuation of the eighth round of the Bundesliga and reached the cup zone with the three points.
Salomon Kalou was the one who opened the scoring in the first half, when in the 17th minute he received the ball and with a great turn he took a shot that was unreachable for the visiting goalkeeper and scored the first goal of the afternoon.
In the second half, Vedad Ibisevic replaced the Hertha scorer and in the 76th minute, the Bosnian appeared to receive the cross and score the 2-0 for La Vieja Dama.
One minute later, Ibisevic was finely enabled by the Hamburg defense and in the one-on-one against Drobny, he finished with his right foot and the goalkeeper, despite his effort, could not stop the shot and prevent the rout.
