The advertising novelty of Facebook has made several companies already interested in using the service to offer their products and services.

The advertising has no limits on Facebook. The novelty now is that the company of Mark Zuckerberg is testing a new augmented reality technology to display products in users' feeds.

The news was confirmed by Ty Ahmad-Taylor, Vice President of Product Marketing for Facebook's Global Marketing Solutions, during an event in New York.

"People still love that experience of trying products, but they would like to try it at home," said Ahmad-Taylor regarding the new advertising format that has interested companies like NYX Professional Makeup, Bobbi Brown, Pottery Barn, Wayfair, and King.

The augmented reality ads look like regular ads, except they have the message: "Tap to try it." If done so, Facebook's augmented reality capabilities will be activated to position the product in front of the potential customer artificially.
