This year, the anime Dragon Ball Super ended with the Tournament of Power, and a movie that continues the story is being prepared. In the last days, Akira Toriyama confirmed that the arcade game Dragon Ball Heroes will have an anime.
The plot of the new anime will be based on the events after the Tournament of Power, but in an alternative story. It will feature the participation of several characters who are no longer canon in Toriyama's story, such as Broly and Goku Super Saiyan 4.
In addition, new exclusive characters will be introduced, such as the Evil Saiyan. This is a prisoner who inhabits the Prison Planet and will be the new threat to Earth. Goku and his friends will have to defeat him and explore this new universe.
Rumors indicate that he will be the new villain in the Dragon Ball Super movie. We will have to wait for the release of both productions to learn more about this mysterious Saiyan.
