Around 300 people bid farewell to the Santos Laguna team, which departed for Toluca, where they will play the Second Leg Final against the Diablos Rojos on Sunday.

The fans are not leaving their team alone, they are accompanying them throughout their journey in the playoffs, especially now that they are close to obtaining their sixth star.

Hundreds of people went to the Territorio Santos Modelo to say goodbye to the players and coaching staff. They gathered since noon to accompany the bus with the whole team to the airport, where another large group of followers awaited them.

Others gave somewhat technical recommendations: "De Buen, watch out for Sambueza!"

During the entire journey, they sang Santos' songs, the anthem, blew trumpets, horns, and rattles, as well as drums that resonated as if calling for battle.

The players thanked the enthusiasm of the people, they seemed very calm and focused on the decisive match.

Throughout the journey to the airport, people made way for the car caravan, feeling the excitement of being in a Final, especially with a team like the one designed by Robert Dante Siboldi to change Santos' face.

Upon descending from the bus, people formed a barrier and were able to take pictures with the players. Abella was one of the first ones, then Furch, one of the most requested, as well as Djaniny, who kindly complied with the requests of the fans, slowing down his transfer to the waiting room.

The people encouraged them with many phrases. One of them was: "Bring the sixth one!", "Give it your all!", "You can do it!". Others gave somewhat technical recommendations: "De Buen, watch out for Sambueza!"

There were many children in the place, some very young who did not understand the reason for so much excitement, but their parents were thrilled to take a picture with the players.

Members of the La Tribu fan group were also present, whose representative, Magda Tovar, showed some concern about the incidents that have occurred here, such as throwing beer at Toluca executives and the aggression towards the bus.

They warned that the atmosphere in Toluca is a bit tense, so there could be aggressions towards Santos fans attending the match. Therefore, they called for sanity and to be alert, without falling into provocations.

It is expected that a good number of people from La Laguna will go to support Santos, many will go on their own, hoping that Santos can finish their work.
