Sport Huancayo and Real Garcilaso drew 1-1 in their debut in the Torneo Apertura. Both teams tried to take the three points but they were unable to take advantage of the few goal situations they created.
Boring draw
Jean Deza opened the scoring for the home team in the 29th minute, but the joy didn't last long for Sport Huancayo because Johnny Vidales found the equalizer in the second half. In the 56th minute, 'Agujita' won an aerial ball against Marcos Delgado and beat Carlos Solis in the goal.
The next match will be played in the middle of the week. Real Garcilaso will host Binacional in their home ground in Cusco, while Sport Huancayo will seek their first victory in the Torneo Apertura when they visit Comerciantes Unidos.
