Santos Laguna Takes the Victory in the First Leg of the Final

Tranquility has returned to the Territorio Santos Modelo after an intense night, in which Santos Laguna was able to take advantage in the First Leg of the Final against Toluca.

Now, the lagunero team is focused on the visit they will make to the Nemesio Diez Stadium, in search of completing their masterpiece.

This morning, the team reported to training. Those who played the most minutes carried out regenerative exercises in the gym, while the rest worked on the field, playing soccer under the watchful eye of the coaching staff led by Robert Dante Siboldi.

There is happiness, but also moderation, no celebration, everyone is concentrated on the second match, willing to do whatever it takes to lift that trophy that has traveled from Comarca to the state of Mexico, where it will be delivered to the champion.

Everything is being done as usual, the team is managing workloads and this Saturday will be low-demand, as the trip to Toluca will be at 3:00 p.m. on a special flight.

In the meantime, in Toluca there was discontent due to the altercation between the red directors and the lagunero fans, who showered the visiting box with beer and insults, which generated protests.

It is also true that people considered it a provocation, due to the way the people from Toluca celebrated, and they had to be protected and some fans were singled out and removed by the stadium security.

Another incident being analyzed by the Federation is the attack on the bus that transported the Diablos Rojos team from the stadium to their concentration hotel, leading to a complaint for damages.

The Diablos players, Ángel Reyna and Leonel López, published photos on social media showing the damage to the bus windows.

The Santos board has not yet commented on the matter, but these actions have been condemned by the football community.
