Mexican National Team Player Andrés Guardado to Undergo Surgery
The Mexican national team coach, Juan Carlos Osorio, had previously mentioned that Andrés Guardado was going to undergo surgery, but the team's medical department has specified the discomfort that the Betis midfielder is experiencing and mentioned that a specialist will determine if he will need surgery.
"In the exams, a problem was found in his right peroneal nerve, which has been treated conservatively without obtaining a complete recovery," the statement mentioned.
It was then mentioned that "for this reason, Guardado will be evaluated by a specialist in our country, who will determine if his final treatment should be surgery, and if so, he will be operated on as soon as possible."
