A true Star Wars fan
A true Star Wars fan would know that Anthony Daniels is the actor who has appeared in all the franchise movies. Now, with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Daniels will participate again but with a different character than C3-P0.
The man behind the C3-P0 costume has not only been present in the big film productions, but also in the recent animations. Here's a recap of his history:
Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005)
Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015)
Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi (2017)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)
The animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008)
The animated series Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003)
The animated series Star Wars: Rebels (2014)
The list is long and could be extended even more if we consider the video games.
It was actor Mark Hammill (Luke Skywalker) who revealed Daniels' role in the new film during an interview with the Washington Post.
"Tony Daniels is very happy because he has participated in all the Star Wars films. In every one. He's in all the prequels, he's in Rogue One, he's in Solo... Oops! I hope that's not a... Well, anyway."
Jonathan Kasdan, one of the screenwriters of Solo, confirmed what Hammill stated.
"Anthony Daniels is in the movie, but it's a different character. [...] The Wookiee who helps the protagonists escape [during one of the movie's sequences], Chewbacca's best friend, is played by Anthony Daniels."
So you've been warned. If you're going to watch the movie, pay attention to the scene to identify this unique character.
