Javier Hernandez: Tribute to Sir Alex Ferguson
Javier Hernandez began his football career in Europe with Manchester United, then managed by Alex Ferguson. For three years, the Mexican player was under the coach's orders.
As it is evident, Chicharito Hernandez, like many other football personalities, is concerned about the health of the former 'Red Devils' manager. The forward gave an interview to West Ham's website and recalled his best moments with him.
"He has been fundamental for my life and career. He gave me the opportunity to be here in Europe and play for one of the best teams in the world. He's like a father," commented Javier Hernandez.
"He treated me well and welcomed me in a good way, and I think we spent three good years together at Manchester United," added Chicharito Hernandez, explaining his early days in England.
The Mexican player also narrated how he found out about what happened to the former 'Red Devils' manager. "I was in shock by the news... He informed me through WhatsApp," referring to West Ham's vice president, Karren Brady, who had a similar experience.
Lastly, Javier Hernandez revealed that he is aware of Ferguson's evolution. "Fortunately, the news is that he is recovering and improving. My prayers are with him and his family," he concluded.
