The personal logo is essentially the mark of a superstar athlete. Every big-name athlete has one — some logos being better than others (but generally, they’re all similar).
Odell Beckham Jr.’s newest Nike logo isn’t one of the best.
On Monday, ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted an image of Beckham’s new “OBJ” logo that Nike filed to trademark. Apparently, this logo is supposed to spell out “OBJ.”
Beckham signed a deal with Nike last year, and NFL fans weren’t particularly impressed with what Nike came up with for Beckham’s logo. It inspired plenty of jokes.
I, for one, am excited to read Odell Beckham’s newspaper.
