The highlight of this week was the match between Cienciano and César Vallejo. The 'Poet' danced in Cusco and triumphed in the 'Imperial City' with goals from Arly Benites (27'), Alexánder Sanchez (45'), and a brace from Carlos Orejuela that sealed the victory for 'Chemo' del Solar's students (68' and 85').

The 'Poet' is the leader of the tournament along with Hualgayoc, who also defeated Deportivo Coopsol (2-1). But, be careful, they were not the only ones who showed good football. In the north, the vibe of Peruvian football was also felt.
Goals rained in the match between Atlético Grau and Sport Victoria. The team from Piura went all out and scored five goals. The standout player was Luis Rojas, who scored a brace and secured the victory (24' and 50').
Carlos Manucci also did not stay behind and won at home with goals from Jhony Obeso Panduro (4') and Osnar Noronha Montani (21'). Meanwhile, Juan Aurich lost the top spot after drawing with Los Caimanes (1-1) and will look to get back to winning ways in the next round.
