Montero's Gilberto Parada Stadium to Host International Match
The Gilberto Parada Stadium, in Montero, will host an international football match for the first time after being enabled for the game between Guabirá and Liga de Quito, for the Copa Sudamericana.
Edgar Menacho, Guabirá's executive, confirmed the reopening of the sports venue, which was closed for four months for field refurbishment and maintenance.
Menacho ensured that the match between Guabirá and Liga will definitely be played at the Gilberto Parada Stadium, and that a Conmebol inspection committee will visit to verify some details that had been lacking and have been resolved for its reopening.
