The president of Sevilla FC in the Spanish Football League, José Castro, announced today in a press conference the ratification of the head coach Vincenzo Montella in charge of the first team, as well as the dismissal of Óscar Arias from the sports management of the club.

Jose Castro pointed out that "Sevilla FC trusts to have a new sports director within a month because we understand that this year there have been mistakes that we have to fix. We have things to change and we will change them."

When questioned about continuing with Montella in charge of the team, Castro stated that "we have felt that he is strong and motivated, we trust that he will lead us to Europe. He has transmitted confidence to us and we trust him".
